downtown plainfield
Downtown Plainfield offers so many fun little spots for photos, including brick walls, colorful painted alleyways, charming storefronts, and even the top of a parking garage for a more modern, urban feel. There’s a great mix of textures and backdrops, making it easy to create a gallery with lots of variety.
One of the things I love most about Downtown Plainfield is that, as an urban location, it photographs beautifully any time of year. Each season brings its own unique feel, while the brick, architecture, and colorful details provide timeless backdrops no matter the month.
Because Downtown Plainfield is located along a busy road, it may be a better fit for older kiddos who are comfortable walking between locations. Sessions are best held late afternoon through early evening.
hummel park
Hummel Park, located in Plainfield, is a beautiful location with plenty of variety to create a gallery full of different looks. 🤍
One of the things I love about Hummel Park is all the little areas we can explore throughout the park. There’s a beautiful bridge that crosses over the creek, open grassy areas, winding paths, and gorgeous tucked-away spots that really come to life when the fall foliage arrives.
It’s a great option if you’re looking for a mix of natural greenery, open spaces, and beautiful fall scenery all in one location.
Sessions are best held during the evening hours leading up to sunset
talon stream park
Talon Stream Park, located in Plainfield, is a beautiful location for sessions from late May through October. 🤍
One of the things I love most about this location is how much it changes throughout the season. In early summer, the park is filled with lush, gorgeous greens, while July brings a beautiful field of wildflowers. By October, the foliage transforms into those rich, warm fall colors that make the perfect backdrop for fall sessions.
And then there’s the stream! It’s the perfect spot for a few playful images near the water or even getting in and splashing around. It’s always a favorite for the littles—and seniors love it, too!
Sessions are best held during the evening hours leading up to sunset, giving us beautiful light and plenty of time to explore everything this location has to offer.
